We are not a peanut free facility.
We do not use any nuts in our breads currently. We do uses some seeds, currently flax and sunflower.
Spelt flour has a slightly nutty taste just by it’s own flavor profile, not by any actual nuts used. We sometimes use spelt in our Single Speed loaf but are actually using whole wheat instead right now while we find a new source for our spelt flour.
So no nuts in the bread, no peanuts in the facility (GIA Kitchen) but yes other nuts are used by other bakers/cooks in the facility. And when people find out we plan on biking through the winter they think we’re nuts. They may be right…
